History & Background

Jeremy and Darlene Humpherville opened Coastal Carvings in 2004 as a private studio to facilitate Jeremy’s personal work. Read more about Jeremy on his artist biography page.

As Jeremy began working with clients to create pieces that would fit into their homes, he developed a natural ability to intuitively connect and communicate during the design process. He was inspired to produce commissioned pieces that communicate both traditional and personal stories.

Soon after opening Jeremy and Darlene decided to represent other talent, displaying the work of several other carefully curated artists in many different mediums and styles.

Fully artist owned and operated, Coastal Carvings is dedicated to art that is original in nature and the best of both traditional and contemporary forms.
